Scholarship in Family Enterprise

For BCom Students

Awarded to students with superior academic achievement entering the third or fourth year of study for a Bachelor of Commerce, and who have completed Managing Family Enterprise (SEM 428) or Strategic Consulting for Family Business (SEM 427). Selection based on academic standing.

Application: By April 15 to the Undergraduate Programs Office, Alberta School of Business, Room 2-20.

Scholarship in Family Enterprise

For BCom Students

Awarded to students with superior academic achievement entering the third or fourth year of study for a Bachelor of Commerce, and who have completed Managing Family Enterprise (SEM 428) or Strategic Consulting for Family Business (SEM 427). Selection based on academic standing.

Family Enterprise Scholarships

For BCom or MBA Students

Value: $1,500
Funding: ABFI

Awarded to undergraduate or MBA students who complete a minimum of one project/program/ course/seminar in the area of family enterprise and are accepted in the International Family Business Study Tour (SEM 648) or similar family themed exchange. Preference will be given to students with an interest or experience in family enterprise.

Application: By April 15 to the Alberta School of Business. An International Student Exchange Application and acceptance on the exchange are also required.

Naqvi-Rota Scholarship in Family Enterprise

For BCom Students

Value: $5,000
Funding: Tony Rota and Tina Naqvi-Rota Donors
Number: One

Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in the third or fourth year of an undergraduate degree in Business. Selection based on academic standing and indicated financial need. Preference given to a student who has completed coursework in SEM 428 and/or SEM 427, and has been accepted to participate in the European Study Tour (SEM 444).

Application: By application to the Office of the Registrar.

MBA Scholarship in Family Enterprise

For MBA Students in SEM 628 or SEM 642

Value: $6,500
Funding: Anonymous Donor

Awarded to outstanding students who are registered full-time in the MBA program at the Alberta School of Business. Selection based on academic achievement (minimum grade point average equivalent to 3.5 on the University of Alberta grading scale). Recipients must be enrolled in either SEM 628 or SEM 642.

Application: Submit a letter of application to the Associate Dean, Masters Program by July 1.

Notification: Successful applicants will receive notification by August 1.
